When starting a lesson or assignment (Exploration or Experimentation & Evaluation portions) of a lab you will see the Properties page that will inform you of the policies in place. In the Access Conditions section you will see Maximum Number of Attempts, this will indicate how many times you may attempt this portion of the lab.
