How to View Instructor Feedback in the SI Lab Portal Gradebook

If your course is accessed through your school’s LMS, begin by selecting the Gradebook link within your LMS. This will redirect you to the SI Lab Portal and you can skip steps 1 - 3 in this article. Once there, follow the steps below starting with the View Panel.

*LMS's include: Canvas, Blackboard, D2L/Brightspace, and Moodle.

1. Log in to the SI Portal.

From your dashboard or system homepage, select Enter on the class you want to view. This opens your Class Homepage.

2. Select Gradebook from the Class Homepage.

3. Select View Past Results.

By default, all attempted activities will appear in the View Panel.

4. Select "Details" next to the lab you would like to view.

1. Select a unit from the Units list.

You can select multiple units by holding Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac).

2. From the Select Lessons & Assignments pane, select one or more activities.

You can select multiple activities using the same keys or use one of the preset buttons to multiselect.

3. Use the Filter Results pane to refine your results (optional).

Start by clicking the green plus sign next to Filter Results to expand the section. Then select from the dropdowns.

  • Results Type: Best (default), Average, Most Recent, Earliest, or All
  • Progress Status: All, Completed, In Progress, or To Be Reviewed
  • Date Range: Select a start and end date, if needed

Select Search to update the results shown in the View Panel.

5. Scroll through your assignment details.

Feedback from instructor will appear along the left side of the screen, underneath the score for the question.

Tips

  • If you don’t see an assignment you’ve completed, it could be hidden by the instructor or still under review.
  • Use the Style dropdown (numeric, percentage, or letter) to view your grade in the format you prefer.
  • At the bottom of the Gradebook Page, adjust the number of rows visible if you have many activities so you don’t have to click through many pages.
